Sophia 33 was, as a project, a challenge from the very start. Sophia 33 manufactures and sells one-of-a-kind organic wool clothes, handmade and with a powerful traditional background.
The challenge was a complete re-branding and we were given a carde blanche creative wise. Our keywords were : FEMININE, STRONG, ROYAL AND ANTITHETIC. Our biggest challenge was turning all of this into a brand, closer to a designer house but keeping clear of the cliches of the fashion world, took more than inspiration a lot of courage.
The logo was inspired by a mythological creature, the famous Dr. Seuss's push-me-pull-me, so we combined two engravings of predator and prey. The passive sheep and the active wolf, representative of the designers dual character.
The website was given a complete make-over. A minimal approach but complex enough to showcase both the campaign and to host a user friendly e-shop. The videos shot for the campaign were used as a background for the entire site and the shop was organised externally.
Inspired by the dual nature of the designer we made up a brand that acts as a powerful voice and tells a unique story in every piece.
