Communication design

In early 2012, MTAG was a newly founded company, resulted from the fusion of two major players of the international steel industry.  They asked HIPPOS to create the company’s key visual and the brand guidelines. We found our inspiration at the core of the company’s business and we proposed a key visual that shows an immaculate, perfect steel shape coming out of a rough iron ore.

The slogan

HIPPOS created the concept for the event celebrating the 20th anniversary of the company Adrem Invest. Its slogan was "Twenty years, define the future." Adrem was one of the two merging companies of MTAG. And because the ADREM brand philosophy was conveyed in the new business reality of MTAG, the board asked us to recontextualize the anniversary slogan of Adrem for MTAG.

The slogan shows the company's desire to focus on permanent innovation, which will allow them to shape the future.

The construction

The visual is a 3D construction of a mix between a pyramid and a burst of irregular prisms. It can be interpreted as a connection between the underground world with its strong roots and the surface world. On the other hand, the visual shows a dialogue between raw natural elements and man-made forms, perfected with technology.
To reach the composition's final form, we've tried different materials, colors and positions.
