BRAND COMMUNICATION & LAUNCH CAMPAIGN

While building the largest shopping center at the Romanian seaside, IMMOFINANZ Group asked HIPPOS to create the project’s branding. After a rigorous process, we designed an identity that encloses the dynamics and energy of the sea environment, the idea of entertainment variety and intersecting roads. Further on, we built a bold & colorful launch campaign, perfectly suited for the newly born Maritimo brand.

The logo was inspired by the more dynamic aspects of architecture such as Walt Disney Hall by Frank Gehry, but also by the characteristics of Constanta, situated on the sea coast. Its dynamic shapes reflect the waves energy, the intense colors of summer accessories and the forms of fancy female shoes. On the other hand, the logotype characteristics form an analogy of the colonnade on the facade of the mall.

The main idea of the Maritimo website was to create an allegorical composition, displaying all the features of the mall, from shopping and entertainment to leisure and cinema.
