LIDL | Packaging Design
Camara Noastra (Our Pantry) is a private label developed by LIDL for a wide range of qualitative yet affordable food produced exclusively in Romania. It is the quintessential blend of modern production and Romanian traditional cuisine.
LIDL asked our design team to create the visual identity and product packaging for the Camara Noastra brand, focusing on the local traditions with a modern touch.
Inspired by the archetypical motifs used as decoration for the traditional pottery, we created a modern reinterpretation of a Romanian old pattern, that became the main visual feature. Further more, on the packaging design, beside the modern pattern, we integrated engraving-like illustrations in order to obtain an eclectic feeling and give it a narrative touch.

The Range
We created a multi-functional design, that could be used for a whole range of products without losing it's appeal and one that could be easily adapted to a variety of packages.
